Projector not Showing up on Epson iProjection App

What is the Epson iProjections App:

The Epson iProjection app allows you to wirelessly project documents, photos, and more from your Chromebook, Prospect Schools distributed Macbooks to Epson projectors. It offers features like mirroring your device's screen, annotating projected images, and connecting up to 50 devices simultaneously. It's a handy tool for classrooms and offices, enabling easy content sharing and collaboration for our classrooms.

These are steps to follow when having trouble with Epson iProjection

1. Projector Won't Connect

  • Ensure the projector is turned on and set to the correct input source. How to here
  • Check that your device is connected to the same network as the projector.
  • Restart both the projector and your device.

If you continue to have issues then please put in a ticket and the IT team will assist you on this issue.

2. Screen sharing access is needed to project

To control which apps can record your screen and audio, you can change your security settings:

  • Select the Apple menu
  • Click System Settings
  • Click Privacy & Security in the sidebar
  • Click Screen & System Audio Recording on the right
  • Toggle the ability to record on or off for each app
  • To add an app, click the Add button and navigate to the app you want to add

Epson iProjection is a free app that allows you to wirelessly project content from your mobile devices (iOS or Android), Chromebooks, and PCs to compatible Epson projectors. With Epson iProjection, you can:

  • Mirror your device's screen: Display your device's screen on the projector.
