How to connect to BPCSStudents at BPHS
Message Summary:
The Prospect Schools IT department has added the BPCSStudents network to the Windsor Terrace campus. This capture network allows students to connect their devices to the internet using their Prospect Schools Google credentials.
Purpose:
This relieves our guest network Brooklyn Prospect Wireless from high-traffic situations and creates a dedicated network for our BPHS students.
Important Information:
- Students can only connect to BPCSStudents for 9 hours at a time. The network will disconnect when the time limit has expired and/or their devices are in sleep mode.
- Students will have to authenticate their session every time they’re disconnected from the network.
- You can only authenticate your browsing session using an email with the @prospectschools.org domain.
Connecting to the BPCS Student Network
1. Click on the wifi icon on your mac's upper right corner, then click on other networks if BPCSstudents it isn’t visible.
2. Read and accept the terms and conditions of the network use policies.
3. Authenticate your session by entering your Prospect Schools credentials.
**Only one user is allowed to browse at a time (If you someone logs in with the same credentials as you, both users will be kicked off the network)
4. After authentication, you can close the window and begin your browsing session for the day.
